MEMBER NIGHT

A Unique Pair—Gray Whales and the Monterey Bay

Sunday, January 18
(7 p.m.-9 p.m.)

It's prime time for gray whales in the Monterey Bay. Migrating from their feeding grounds in Alaska to their breeding grounds in Baja California, gray whales pass through Monterey Bay with peak crossings in the last half of January as they head south.

Join us for this special Member Night and learn more about these majestic animals.

Member Nights are the perfect opportunity to view your favorite exhibits after the Aquarium has closed to the general public. Free for members; registration is not required. Bring your friends to Member Nights using your guest cards or purchase tickets when you arrive.

World Ocean Day Music Celebration

Saturday, June 6
(8 p.m.-11 p.m.)

Members: $50 for the event; $175 for the event and gourmet dinner
General public: $65 for the event

This magical event combines a variety of live performances with the beauty of our exhibits. You can start your evening off on a high note with a gourmet four-course dinner paired with fine wines at 6:30 p.m. in the Portola Restaurant. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Picnic by the Bay

Thursday, July 23

Picnic near your favorite exhibit or on one of our many oceanfront decks and watch an evening sea otter feeding or kelp forest dive. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, or purchase them in the Aquarium. The Portola Restaurant will not be serving dinner.

Halloween at the Aquarium

Put on your costume and join the skeletons and sea stars, black cats and bat rays for an evening of haunted activities and ghostly good times. Kids of all ages love this event featuring face painters, strolling magicians and stilt walkers.
